SUMMARY
The author introduces what is Chapter 1 for the third edition of the textbook and Chapter 2 for the fourth edition. He discusses the organization of the end-of-chapter questions for the first and second editions of the textbook. Ideally, you are now using the fourth edition where you will find the end-of-chapter questions follow Bloom's taxonomy of learning, which starts you off with the easy stuff and builds up to the hard stuff. If you want to do well on your exams, you will need to make it up to at least the "Think and Explain" questions. If you do no more than the "Reading Check" questions, then you won't perform so well on your exams. Simply put, your education is no more than what you put into it. Keep in mind that it's not enough to read, watch, and listen to the concepts. You also need to articulate those concepts and apply them to novel situations.
